Here we have a reissue of a rare hippie-folk/psych album from 1978, recorded by an
obscure duo from Maryland, USA. This inventive LP from Jay Michaels and M.J. Hack (with
a little help from flautist Terry Lee on one cut) features great guitar work (both
electric and acoustic), spacey effects, some fuzz interventions, echoed vocals, and
a drum machine on several tracks. Interesting stuff!

Special Deliverance is a band created by French multi-instrumentalist Arno Boytel,
which he started In 2012 (inspired by the Clifford Simak's 'Special Deliverance'
sci-fi book). The genre of this music is basically psychedelic merged with progressive
blues/space rock and groovy rock (Edgar Broughton Band, Sam Gopal, Traffic, Twink and
Pink Fairies, John Mayall and the British Blues Boom etc.). Arno has crafted a really
unique sound and he can really wield his guitarwork with serious passion! Originally

keyboardist/organ player Anders Becker, bassist Ralf Hopken, and percussionist/drummer
Steve Wittig, which are all pundits in their genre. Since the early 1990s, they have
worked and played with Damo Suzuki (Can), Rainer Baumann (Frumpy), Daevid Allen
(Gong), Nikki Sudden (Jacobites), Tom "The Perc" Redecker and Nik Turner (Hawkwind).
