IKU 059 LICHEN GUMBO ALTERED VILLAGE LP 05.2020
Lichen Gumbo's album 'Altered Village' is an eight-song ode to Siilinjärvi. On the
record, straightforward rock is overshadowed by metallic banging, crumbles in electric
mud and is suffocated in Savonian turf. The cabin fever-sound world has been created
in two-room flat of an apartment building in Vantaa and within the unique circumstances
of Stockholm Electron Music Studio. Olli Aarni, an artist working in the international
field of experimental music, is responsible for Lichen Gumbo's sound worlds.
The compositions are provided by Ville Oinonen, a singer-guitarist at Atom Mouth
Gimlies. Edition of 200 copies, co-released with Artsy Records, Jumatsuga and Lal
Lal Lal.

IKU 061 RED BRUT CLOAKED TRAVELS LP 07.2020
Following her debut LP (KRAAK, 2018) and a string of tapes and 7-inches, Red Brut
drops her second album, 'Cloaked Travels'. It is a joint release by the Finnish labels
Ikuisuus and Lal Lal Lal. In many aspects, 'Cloaked Travels' is an amazing realisation
of what Red Brut does best: molding the absurd, the amateurish, and the crude into
beautiful and elegant sound pieces. These eight "songs", organised in two suites,
dwell between abstract avant-garde and pop sensibility. Working with cassette tapes,
Red Brut enhances the ambiguous qualities of her sounds with the warm distortion and
background hiss typical of the medium. The music leaves the listener to him- or
herself, happily lost in small universes that contain many layers of beauty,
discomfort, and intimacy. Limited to 250 copies.

IKU 063 TASOS STAMOU ANTIGUA GRAECIA LP 07.2021
'Antiqua Graecia' is the third of the trilogy of electroacoustic compositions
inspired by Greek music culture. It comes to complete a vinyl trilogy of Greek-based
themes by capturing the essence of the rural mainland countryside. With a title is
taken from an old Italian gravure map, this album combines original acoustic
recordings and highly electronic experiments and synthetic compositions, creating
an abstract surreal music fairytale. While references of antique folk instruments
and voices are present all across the album, the narrative is also conducted by
the presence of analogue synthesizers and computer music structures, reassembling
the pieces of the originals to a new music collage.

IKU 064 SUNHIILOW BEYOND THE CYCLE LP 02.2021
Edition of 300. 'Beyond The Cycle' is the first LP of Sunhiilow, also known as
Valerie Magisson, a French musician who is living in Finland. The tracks were
recorded with a warm sounding synth, Moog Mother-32. 'Beyond The Cycle' is an
ethereal ambient music, following the earlier album 'Whispers Of A Dream Wind',
which was her first step into the analog synth music. Sunhiilow has learned how
to catch the emotions and transpose it through the music. The artworks on the
sleeve are also made by her. Mastered by Pentti Dassum.

psychotropic music. All manner of bizarre forms take shape and shift throughout
the proceedings journeying through exotic psych, swamp funk, musique concrete,
and acoustic miniatures all held together by a biomorphic DNA strand that resides
