Warm and careworn indie from this Los Angeles by way of Indiana native. The move to
the coast (doesn't everyone?) has spurred on a more 60s West Coast sound enlightening
the previous understated songwriting. The press release compares this to so many
artists that it's hard to know where Stone Irr are actually coming from but with Thom
Yorke and Sufjan Stevens in the melting point this gives us a good idea of where this
is headed.

Fluff is the debut solo album by Steve Marino. He is, however, an accomplished singer
/songwriter who has been releasing albums under the Moor Hound moniker for the last
decade. Reasons for his name change seem to, oddly perhaps, point to the fact he is
now collaborating with producer Ben Lumsdaine.  Fans of Cass McCombs, Damien Jurado
and Sun Kil Moon will enjoy this.
