Blues Creation were formed in Tokyo in 1969, bonding over a love of American blues.
Their self-titled debut LP is very rare, but this re-issue should make it easier to get
hold of a copy! The album features covers of blues greats such as Willie Dixon, Sonny
Boy Williamson, Memphis Slim and Chester Burnett. The band recorded more albums and
reinvented themselves as Creation (not to be confused with ‘60s British beat combo
The Creation), but they failed to scale the heights of their powerful debut again.
