Bachar Mar-Khalifé wanted to go back to his roots to record his new album and so
headed back to his native Lebanon into the house in which he grew up. It lead to
a raw and stripped back work that was inspired by the recent uprising in the country
and contains eleven tracks he wrote on the spot with the various instruments at his
disposal.
